The fee includes your dispatcher, paperwork, rate negotiation, and relationship building. Billed weekly on loads dispatched Monday through Friday.
Current carriers receive 50% off one week of service when they refer another carrier who signs up and completes one week of service.
Our carriers receive a discount on their first year of OOIDA membership, the association that has fought for professional truckers since 1973, and discounted factoring through OTR Capital.
Ox Transit does not pay carriers directly for loads. We work with your factoring company to submit your POD in order to secure your payment in 24 to 48 hours. If you do not have a factoring company, we offer a discount through one of our partners.
Our billing department invoices carriers each Monday for loads dispatched the previous Monday through Friday. Payment is due on receipt and no later than Wednesday. We accept Zelle, ACH and PayPal using billing@oxtransit.com.
The dispatch agreement runs week to week. Either party can cancel at any time with three days' written notice, so there is never a long-term commitment.
Obtaining your authorityIt can be an overwhelming, yet rewarding process. The one thing that helps rid the anxiety of taking this step is information. The more you know, the less there is to be anxious about. To help prepare you for this milestone, we have put together a list of the basic expenses associated with getting your own authority.
Mind the 90-day clock. Once you apply and pay the fee, you have 90 days to become compliant and activate your MC number. If you miss the window, your application is revoked. You then have one year from the date of revocation to get compliant and request reinstatement; after that you must re-apply and pay another application fee.
